Join the Breath Connection community to celebrate the Lunar New Year with a powerful practice to welcome in 2024, the Year of the Wood Dragon! πŸ‰

In Chinese culture, the Dragon is a potent symbol of power, prosperity and leadership. We'll dive into carefully selected breath and movement practices from the Himalayan Kriya Yoga tradition to connect to our own inner dragon energy and kick off the new year by activating a fresh start and new beginning within ourselves.

About Breath Connection
Breath Connection is a monthly donation-based virtual gathering to practice breathwork and meditation techniques in community. No prior experience with breathwork or meditation is required. This class will be have options for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. All are welcome!

Each month we will explore a different theme and set of practices from the Himalayan kriya yoga tradition, which may involve movement and mantra in addition to breathwork and meditation.

You can expect:
-Powerful breath practices to release stagnant energy and stuck emotions
-Meditation practice for focus, self-awareness and acceptance
-Opportunities to connect with others as a community of practice

The session will be recorded and a recording of the guided practice will be sent to all participants to use as a resource into the future.

About Breathwork

Breath practice is the ultimate tool for self-empowerment. It is is the single most important thing we do every day, not only because it keeps us alive (!) but also because how we breathe has a deep impact on our physiology. Changing the way you breathe can change how you feel in less than a minute, because breathing is directly connected to the autonomic nervous system. There are hundreds of different breath techniques that all have different physiological effects. Learn more.
