ABOUT
"I would like to believe that we are not alone. That there is a world that lies between the walls of this dimension and the next. Where one supposes our ancestors float, watching, sending us clues, telling us things we can’t quite comprehend through patterns and symbols. I feel that place in my music. It’s soul matter you cannot touch, that which comes out of me in song, that which tells a story of something more." Artist Bio: Morgan Sorne is an award-winning multi-disciplinary artist, composer, and musician with a 5-octave voice as his primary instrument, known for his hypnotic creations, deeply textured vocal collages punctuated with primitive urgency, and an emotional wisdom that seems otherworldly. "Sorne sounds of the future gawking at you with a gaping mouth, fearlessly, and enveloped in mysticism." (Red River Noise) Fellow artists from across the creative spectrum have also recognized Sorne’s unique talents and collaborated with him including Coco Rosie, Gary Numan, Robin Finck, TV on the Radio, The String Theory, Beats Antique, and composers such as Bear McCreary and Jason Hill. His original music can be heard in film, TV, games and trailers including Dark Matter (AppleTV) The Witcher: Blood Origin, American Horror Story (FX), Life After Gravity (3DR), Infinitely Yours (Miwa Matreyek), and more. Sorne has recently completed illustrating a 340-page graphic novel with musician, poet, and actor, Saul Williams (Slam, Holler if Ya Hear Me) entitled "Martyr Loser King" to be released internationally through 23rd STREET BOOKS (Macmillan) Winter, 2026. QUOTES "Morgan Sorne is the consummate artist. What he delivers vocally and vocationally goes beyond the point of exceptional through the realization of his visual sonographies as pure testaments of spirit. As a visual artist the compliment is paid forward by the fact that his painting, illustrations, and line work, in the eyes of the viewer, sing." - Saul Williams "Very few performing artists have sparked my imagination as quickly as Morgan Sorne. His undulating, hypnotic chants transport me to vast vistas of the ancient world. His deeply distorted growling bass lines evoke menacing monsters, while his ethereal melodic lines fill me with heartbreak and yearning. I am honored that Morgan has brought his distinct artistry to my scores for films, television and videogames, including scores for Foundation on Apple TV+ and The Witcher: Blood Origin on Netflix, among others. He and I have more musical surprises in store for fans when we drop a surprise project we created together next year. I look forward to being inspired by, and working with, this magnetic performer for years to come." -Bear McCreary, Emmy & BAFTA award-winning composer “In the 45 years I have lived in LA, it’s the best thing I have ever seen.” - Jay Levin, Founder of LA Weekly “The most gripping performance I have seen in years.” - Ryan Smith of Caribou "If Tool and Jeff Buckley had an orgy on Peyote in the desert and created a love child, that baby would be Sorne; Rooted in the transfiguration of suffering into something that gives life." - Reality Sandwich "SORNE is one of the most exciting voices to emerge lately; incendiary, hallucinatory storytelling” - Newfound Journal “Nonconformist in nature, brilliant in execution. This is absolutely phenomenal in every sense of the word. Music cannot get more unique and authentic as this.” - Sputnik Music "Easily one of the most eccentric and eclectic singers I have ever heard. An extraordinary and unique talent. Kinda ethereal opera electronica meets David Byrne and Kate Bush. Nothing else like it." - Will Henshall
