ABOUT
Laahorii born in the year of 1997 of 9th April in a small town of Salkia,Howrah.She started learning music at the age of 7.She used to copy songs and sing at her very small age. Then seeing this interest her father started to listening her the old cassette of Hindusthani Classical Music. She found her interest day by day in Classical Music. She took her basic talim from Shri Arindam Mukherjee, Later on she learnt from Shri Kaushik Goswami for some years. After that she learnt from Smt Madhumita Saha and PT Sandipan Samajpati for some years. Presently she is the scholar of ITC SANGEET RESEARCH ACADEMY under the tutelage of Guru PT Omkar Dadarkar from 2017. PERFORMENCES She performed in many prestigious stages in her musical career. She first performed publicly at the age of 9. She performed in Sangeet Piyasi infront of many eminent gurus. Beside that she performed at ITC SRA Wednesday Recital and in 2022 she performed at Naihati City. She performed in many prestigious online series also. In 2021 she performed at RUPASHI BANGLA television for a morning programme AJI E PROBHATE. ACHIEVEMENTS She received many prizes for participating in competition. At her young age she stood first in Khayal and Nazrulgeeti Uttarpara Classical Compettition. In her school age she represented her school at Delhi for a Music Competition. For her excellence in music she got a prize by State Govt from her school. In 2014 she stood second in CHETLA MURARI. EDUCATION She belonged to a very well educated family. She is excellent in her academics also. She stood first in Board Exam from her school and received a Silver Medal. She Graduated with Geography Honours from Calcutta University with First Class. After that she completed her Masters in Music from RABINDRA BHARATI UNIVERSITY in 2021.
