Konstantin’s multidisciplinary projects frequently involve dance and film. In 2020 Konstantin joined the adjunct faculty of his alma materThe Juilliard School, where he received his BM, MM, and AD with Jerome Lowenthal. Konstantin’s post-COVID live performances include October 30th withBrooklyn Chamber Orchestra, the debut of two-piano projectSOLO DUEwith Jacopo Giacopuzzi in La Jolla, CA, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. In February 2022 Konstantin appears at BATURA Festival in St. Sebastian and Canary Islands, Spain. This season Konstantin appears with the GCTYO Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Polina Nazaykinskaya. In the Fall of 2022 return to NYC’sLincoln Center’sAlice Tully HallwithPegasus: The Orchestra. In summer 2021 Konstantin resumed his Artist-in-Residency atPianofest In The Hamptons. In April 2022 Konstantin will premiere balletEncountersby Polina Nazaykinskaya forMorDance Companyat Symphony Space, NYC. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Konstantin has recorded Polina’s piano miniatures onOClassicalabel, available on iTunes and Apple Music:Remembrance, Anticipation, andA Summer Rain. Konstantin’s solo violin compositionPostcard from The Edgeis featured on 2 different CDs of renowned violinist Elmira Darvarova. Konstantin is currently working on a libretto for an opera commissioned byMississippi Opera, to premiere in the 2023 season. Konstantin’s work as an actor includes both theater and film, most recently as Juror 12 in AlphaNYC virtual production of 12 Incompetent Jurors. Konstantin was also the narrator withMiami Symphony'sMusimelangeperformance Stravinsky’sSoldier’s Tale,Forbidden Juilliardas multiple characters atTheJuilliard SchoolandClub Makkorin NYC andVictor or Children in Poweras Young Victor at Moscow State Satire Theatre, Moscow, Russia. Konstantin stars as Pavel Sidorov in the 2014 feature filmDishonorable Vendettadirected by Andre Josef. His other film credits are short featuresDecent Men, OssetiaandHansel and Gretel, Carbon Based, Pictures. Konstantin is a recipient of over 16 awards from leading international piano competitions. Born in Moscow to a family of artists he studied at the Moscow Central Special Music School, where he double-majored in piano and composition.
