Chhandayan is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Indian music, dance and culture. With it's headquarters in the heart of New York city, its branches are spread over several states of the USA, Canada and India. It does so by arranging concerts, workshops, seminars and offering classes and lessons. It also maintains a store with high quality instruments, books, DVDs and CDs. Chhandayan has its own publication and unique productions of music and dance.
