ABOUT
Anjishnu is a bright and talented student of Music, belongs from a musical family. His Mother Smt. Indrani Mukherjee is a leading vocalist of India and his Father Sri Apurba Mukherjee is a reputed Tabla player, with whom Anjishnu started learning Tabla at the age of 6 . From 2014 he has started learning from the great Tabla Maestro Pandit Arup Chattopadhyay. In 2017 Anjishnu got cultural talent search scholarship from CCRT, Government of India. Anjishnu got 1st and 2nd positions in some reputed Tabla competition's, such as- First position in Harivallav Sangeet Pratiyogita (Jalandhar), Murari Smriti Music Competition (Kolkata), First and Topper in Vistar Music Circle (Kolkata), XUllash (inter school cultural event, where he represents his school, St. Xaviers Collegiate School). 2nd position in Dhwani Academy(Kolkata) in memory of Pt. Jnan Prakash Ghosh and Classical Voice of India (Lucknow). In 2016 he toured in France, performed in a Festival - FIMU, and also played few Tabla Solo concerts. In the educational side, Anjishnu is in Class 12(Science) at St. Xavier’s Collegiate School, Kolkata.
