Spend a week immersed in Hatha Yoga, meditation, and self-inquiry in the peaceful setting of Shanti Mandir Ashram. Nestled in the scenic Hudson Valley, this retreat is designed to help you reconnect with your body, breath, and inner sense of harmony.
Throughout the week, you’ll experience a structured program that supports growth at every level of practice:
What to Expect:
Opening Program A welcoming gathering to set the tone for the retreat. You’ll be introduced to the schedule, practices, and the beautiful surroundings.
Early Mornings Start each day with pranayama (breathwork) to deepen your awareness and set a steady, positive tone for the day. Silent meditation will follow.
Morning and Evening Hatha Yoga Two daily sessions of mindful Hatha Yoga. Each session includes gentle movement, postures, and guided relaxation to calm the mind and energize the body. Focus will be on presence, breath, and developing a sustainable personal practice.
Daily Lectures Engage with the philosophy and science behind yoga. Lectures will explore key teachings from the Yoga Sutras, with special emphasis on pranayama, yamas, and niyamas—offering tools for both on and off the mat.
Evening Program Relax and reflect with a light dinner and evening gatherings. These programs create space to share experiences and deepen community connection.
Closing Program The retreat will end with a final session focused on helping you continue your practice at home with clarity and inspiration.
