As part of our Farewell to 2024 Series, we're hosting a mesmerizing evening of world jazz with the renowned Oran Etkin. Described as “ebullient” by The New York Times, Etkin uses his music to build connections that transcend generational and cultural boundaries, promoting values of listening, creativity, and unity in a fragmented world.
For this special concert, Etkin brings together an extraordinary band featuring Brazilian percussionist Vinicius Barros, Sri Lankan percussionist Uthpala Eroshan, and Greek bassist Panagiotis. Together, they will perform music from Etkin’s latest album, Open Arms, a breathtaking collection recorded in Zimbabwe, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Brazil, and Canada. NPR described the album as “exhilarating tapestries of global sound,” while Libération called his Paris concert “magic uninterrupted... sensitive, inspired, and full of sharing.”
Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind evening celebrating the music of connection and open arms. Reserve your tickets now!
