The Belle Curves is the primary creative vehicle for Troy-based singer-songwriter Delaney Hafener. A typical multi-hyphenate musician/bandleader/producer/instrumentalist, she has an atypical relationship to fame – she doesn’t want it. She doesn’t need it, and she’s not pursuing it. Delaney seeks authenticity, joy, and community through music-making. She has no choice but to write songs. Through songwriting she processes emotions and captures moments, sharing morsels of her ever-evolving worldview. The Belle Curves have been playing regionally throughout Long Island, NYC, the Hudson Valley, and Western New York, occasionally dabbling in New England. Some notable venues they’ve had the pleasure of performing at include Colony in Woodstock NY, Skinny Dennis in Brooklyn, The Falcon in Marlboro NY, and Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor NY. They’ve enjoyed slots at regional festivals like Bradstock, Sag Harbor American Music Festival, and May Day Music Festival.
