David Rivera, singer-songwriter, drummer, and leader of the band La Bámbula, is known for his authentic sound that blends hip hop, funk, R&B, and electronic elements with the spirit of 70s salsa. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has crafted an intercultural style rooted in Caribbean identity and modern sensitivity, resonating with audiences from jazz enthusiasts to dancers and mainstream listeners.

He recently released the trilogy Cuentos, Remixes y Maquetas, available on digital platforms, featuring collaborations with artists such as El Hijo de Borinquen, BlackRhythm, Amarilys Ríos, and Luis Enrique. His career highlights include performing on Gilberto Santa Rosa’s Auténtico tour, Berklee’s 30th anniversary in Puerto Rico, and Norberto Vélez’s Sesiones de la Loma.
Having worked with Miguel Zenón, Pedro Capó, Obie Bermúdez, and Jerry Medina, Rivera has become a reference in salsa fresh and Caribbean fusion, with international performances scheduled across the U.S., Latin America and Europe.
