The Shedding — Year-End Reboot

Close out the year with us in dance, movement, vocals rhythm, and community. The Shedding is an intimate RebootNYC gathering in collaboration with our friends at Daya Yoga, bringing our communities together to activate shared energy through music and embodied dance, and close out the year Shedding any energy that no longer serves you.

This session is designed as a safe, intentional dance space, free from phones, drinks, filming, or DJ-watching, so you can fully drop into the medicine of music and movement. Expect a hybrid sound experience with speakers in the room plus Reboot’s wireless headsets, offering multiple channels to explore your own groove.

Our resident DJ Edwin will be live-mixing on one channel, with two additional music channels available throughout the journey.

TL/DR - It's the best Dance in NYC! Come, have fun! Bring a friend or come and explore yourself!

Event Flow

3:30–4:15 PM – Opening Yoga with Maria Lara from Daya Yoga
4:00–6:00 PM – Reboot 3-DJ Headphone Dance Experience, DJ Edwin live mixing.
6:15–6:30 PM – Closing Circle

What to Expect

A sober, inclusive dance environment
No phones, no filming, no alcohol
Open-format music that flows with the group’s energy with flow, peak and grounding.
Hybrid sound experience (speakers + headsets) - Choose your own journey.
All music Genres! House (all of em!), Afrobeats, World Music and more.
A grounding sound bath to close the night
Lounging area, drawing pads, and journals for reflection
Barefoot-friendly dance floor
Water station - please bring your own bottle

Sliding scale admission available - $20-$30 (Adjust at viewcy checkout)
