Kathleen Parks is a fiddler, singer, and songwriter who brings joyful and creative energy to the stage and studio. For the last 10 years, she has been heavily involved in touring and recording with her Americana/Jamgrass band Twisted Pine, where she sings, writes, and fiddles. On her upcoming solo album, her captivating songs lean more toward Pop, Folk, and classic Jazz, while her virtuosic fiddle blends and reimagines traditional and modern musical styles with boundless groove and playful improvisational spirit. Her deep grounding in Celtic and American roots music combines with her love for pop songwriting, soulful vocals, and groove-based improvisation, making every KP performance unexpected yet familiar: a musical journey from beginning to end. Over the years, Parks has shared the stage with artists such as Paula Cole, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Gordon Lightfoot, Aoife O’Donovan, The Punch Brothers, Jerry Douglas, and Sierra Hull.

On record, Hawk in the Nest is a fully complete orchestral indie pop rhythm & blues outfit, horn section and all. On paper, Hawk In The Nest is the full-band project of award winning singer-songwriter Avi Jacob, who celebrates elements of Folk, Indie Pop and Americana along with R&B. Produced with drummer Wolfgang Zimmerman (producer of Band of Horses #1 hit Crutch) & bassist Joel Hamilton, the album also features piano virtuoso Noah Jones of the Psycodelics, and Michael Quinn of Doom Flamingo on horns. It is Avi's first full length album of his career. For fans of Alabama Shakes, Ray Lamontagne, and Lake Street Dive, this carefully crafted long-player is a soulful work of art. The album is led by certified bop, "Don't leave me this way" and the tender, dreamy single, “Baby Baby Baby Baby.” Hawk in the Nest is grounded in admiration for artists like Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, Otis Redding, Bob Dylan, and the Four Tops. With this album Avi Jacob has successfully bridged the gap between timeless and urgent, harkening back to eras of old without relying on overwhelming nostalgia. Instead, an organic approach to songwriting sees Hawk in the Nest embrace inspiration as it strikes, an artist fully stepping into his own.
