A Ramadan Community Reflection Series

This Ramadan, we invite you into a deeper relationship with the Qur’an through the lens of Jawahir al-Qur’an by Abu Hamid al-Ghazali.

The Qur’an contains many kinds of knowledge. When we begin to understand their hierarchy and purpose, the way we experience its message is transformed.

Over the course of 4 sessions, we will:

• Discover a framework for understanding how verses function and relate to one another

• Learn to recognize when a verse reveals Divine reality — and when it calls us to action

• Practice meditating on selected passages in community, slowing down, listening carefully, and allowing the words to address us personally

By approaching each verse with awareness of its aim and weight, we hope to experience the Qur’an not as scattered messages, but as a coherent, personal, and living guide.

Registration: We offer a sliding-scale contribution. Please pay what you can afford as this allows for these offerings to be sustained.
