Gaida has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Detroit Institute of Arts, BAM, Joe’s Pub, Le Poisson Rouge, Funoon, and numerous world music festivals. She has recorded for major films and shows, including Jonathan Demme’s Rachel Getting Married, Anne Hathaway’s one-woman show Grounded, and TV series such as Little America and SEAL Team. Her music has also been featured in documentaries such as The Arab Americans, The Last Saturday in May: Kentucky Derby, and Jonathan Demme’s Jimmy Carter: Man from Plains. Additionally, she has been featured on BBC World, WNYC’s Soundcheck, and Spinning on Air.
In addition to her musical career, Gaida is a voice pathologist practicing in her private practice in Astoria. Her album, Levantine Indulgence, is available on Spotify and iTunes.
