Swamp in the City proudly presents Dikki Du & the Zydeco Krewe, (w/ Ruben Moreno on rubboard), at Jalopy Theatre on Friday, August 9th. The evening begins with a zydeco dance lesson at 7:30 PM, followed by Dikki Du & the Zydeco Krewe from 8 'til late. Don't miss Swamp in the City's final zydeco dance party of the summer!

Dikki Du Carrier, a third-generation Zydeco musician from the renowned Carrier family, started playing the washboard at nine and the drums at 13. Determined to lead his own band, he spent a year teaching himself the accordion. Known for bringing joy with their "happy music," Dikki Du & the Zydeco Krewe promise an unforgettable night of dancing and celebration.

The band lineup includes Greg Gordon on drums, Troy "Dikki Du" Carrier on accordion and vocals, Dwight Carrier on guitar and vocals, Pernell Baptiste on bass, and Ruben Moreno on rubboard. Come join the fun!
