About the Artists:
SPASIBA (Katya Stepanov) is a Belarusian-Jewish-American DJ, artist, and experiential alchemist based in Brooklyn. Born in Minsk and raised in New York City, she spins a world of sound that fuses Afro, Latin, and European house, techno, disco, trance, jungle, and melodic EDM into journeys of breath, bass, and sweat. Katya believes the dance floor is the place to move and feel it all, and crafts sound journeys that support collective processing and healing.
Beyond the booth, Katya is the founder of Katya’s Portal and a guide for visionary creatives, weaving Human Design, somatic practice, and storytelling into transformational experiences. From Resonance Gathering, her seasonal micro-festival, to her work as a co-founder of Inheritance Project, she opens portals to new ways of moving, being, and creating.
Jesse Carrey-Chan is a Hudson Valley–based multihyphenate with a passion for storytelling and human connection. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon in Musical Theater and has worked professionally as an actor, dancer, and singer, most recently Off-Broadway (Attack of the Elvis Impersonators) and on tour (Dirty Dancing).
In 2018, Jesse co-founded Rebis, an immersive experience company focused on narrative-driven projects that place the audience at the center of the story. He conceived, directed, and choreographed Those Before Us, an audio-immersive dance experience that premiered on Governors Island in 2019 (www.experiencerebis.com/thosebeforeus).
Over the past five years, he has worked as a product designer across a range of industries, including beauty and wellness, civic technology, cybersecurity, and fintech.
In his spare time, Jesse is a floral designer with Flora Good Times in Beacon, enjoys hiking with his golden retriever, and is currently creating an EP titled 20/20, set to be released in 2026. Learn more and connect at www.jessecarrey.com
