Dallas Wax is a five-piece band based in New York City. The band borrows from the spaces of punk rock, psychedelia, and the blues while maintaining a unique delivery and raucous live performance. Dipped in acid and powered by driving guitar riffs and soulful vocals, Dallas Wax never fails to conjure an unforgettable experience for their audience.
Jack Manley is the new solo project from Hudson Valley-based singer/songwriter Jack Manley, formerly of Cosmonaut, The Jennifer Shop, and Spires. A Kingston, NY native, Jack first made his mark in New York City’s indie rock scene after moving there to attend Fordham University, founding the band Cosmonaut and later performing with Spires at beloved venues like Glasslands, Music Hall of Williamsburg, and Brooklyn Bowl.
In 2019, Jack returned home to Kingston to be closer to his family and support his ailing father while confronting his own struggles with addiction. A near-fatal overdose in the years that followed became a turning point. In 2023, Jack began performing the new material with childhood friend and classical guitarist Billy Pierson at open mics in Woodstock. They were soon joined by bassist Addy Idol, and later drummer Noah Sonenstein, forming a full band that now performs regularly throughout the Hudson Valley. Their debut EP, recorded with Josh Eppard (Coheed and Cambria), marks a powerful return to form, blending emotional honesty with shimmering, indie-rock arrangements.
