Join us on June 25th for a second installment of "Burn, Karma, Burn"! This is a session for musicians and artists of all kinds to improvise together. Aidan Samp, artist-musician and drummer will be leading the session in dedication to his grandfather, Robert “Bob” Branaman. A painter, Bay Area beat poet and cellist whose 1970’s film, Burn, Karma, Burn is the namesake of the session. The Astral Ensemble will start the session with an hour-long set, then floor will be opened up for musicians and artists to collaborate with each other in performance, at Unicorn Bar in Kingston. Inspired by the Jazz and multi-medium art of Aidan’s grandfather’s generation, in a positive setting with an emphasis on innovation.
