We create an intimate space for raga based music & dance rooted in the South Asian diaspora. By creating a supportive community, we hope we can empower emerging artists to build confidence in performing in front of a live and engaged audience.

We’re excited to host our next baithak on Saturday, June 28th at Ruhani Cafe (519 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217), just a short walk from Barclays Center.  

This time, we're embracing the vibe of a summer evening mehfil. The event will take place outdoors on the cafe’s cozy deck, a pefect setting for a relaxing evening of music with eight performances under the summer sky.  The venue will have floor seating on rugs in “baithak” style, as well as chairs with some room for standing.

We are encouraging everyone to please make a purchase to support Ruhani Cafe! As a small business, their partnership makes gatherings like these possible and every cup of chai or bite you enjoy goes a long way.
