TONY MALABY'S 60th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

A little over 15 years ago, MALABY/SANCHEZ/RAINEY recorded two albums at Barbès: Alive in Brooklyn vol 1 and 2. It’s almost hard to describe their music as being improvised - their chemistry is so extraordinary that the music sounds like it is being composed in real time, with no space for narcissistic posturing. Theirs is a true collaborative effort. 

To celebrate his 60th birthday, Tony Malaby brings the trio back to Barbès
