Kick off 2025 the best way possible: with a Cajun dance at Jalopy Theatre featuring T’Monde on Thursday, January 2nd!
T’Monde is a Louisiana-based trio known for their unique blend of classic country, ancient French and Creole ballads, and contemporary Cajun music. Hailing from the heart of Cajun culture, T’Monde has earned praise for their “creative fusion of classic country and out-of-the-way Cajun,” as described by Offbeat Magazine. With a combined 10 Grammy nominations between members Drew Simon, Megan Constantin, and Kelli Jones, T’Monde brings influences ranging from early country music to present-day Cajun traditions.
Since forming in 2011, T’Monde has traveled across the U.S. and internationally, demonstrating that this small band produces a big sound. Their latest album, Lights in the Harbor, showcases their exceptional musicianship and distinctive style. The trio—Kelli Jones on fiddle and vocals, Drew Simon on accordion and vocals, and Megan Constantin on guitar and vocals—continues to captivate audiences with their unmatched blend of instruments and voices.
A Cajun dance lesson will be offered at 7:30pm, followed by T’Monde from 8pm until late. Tickets are $20 in advance / $25 at the door.
Don’t miss your chance to dance the night away with T’Monde. See y’all on the dance floor!
