The Solomon Diaries
Sam Sadigursky - clarinet, compositions
Nathan Koci - accordion

Songs of freedom, rebellion, celebration, tradition, independence, loss, hope, decay and renewal - this is the music of Sam Sadigursky's The Solomon Diaries. Originally inspired by the peculiar history and modern remnants of the Borscht Belt, these songs present Sadigursky's unique work, bringing together an eclectic mix of tradition, improvisation, global influences and a classical chamber intimacy.

This concert will mark the release of a 3 album set of The Solomon Diaries, which came out Jan. 7th on Adhyaropa Records.

Clarinetist Sam Sadigursky was featured onstage in the Tony and Grammy Award winning The Band's Visit and most recently joined the Philip Glass Ensemble. He's also played with Fred Hersch, Brad Mehldau, and the Mingus Orchestra.
He's joined by accordionist and multi-instrumentalist Nathan Koci, who has played with Bang on a Can and Alarm Will Sound and was music director of Daniel Fish's acclaimed Broadway production of Oklahoma!.
