The High & Wides project a big, driving sound—mountain musical traditions re-imagined for a new century. Formed on Maryland's Eastern Shore in 2015 and currently with roots both in Baltimore and the rural Delmarva peninsula, they draw on bluegrass backgrounds and weave in influences from new wave to old time to make music that defies boundaries while evoking the era when country, bluegrass, western swing, and early rock'n'roll mingled freely.

Albums "Lifted" (2018) and "Seven True Stories" (2019) met critical acclaim and charted on Billboard's Bluegrass Album top 10, with "Blood", a tribute to family harmony groups in American roots music, coming in 2022.

Members are Marc Dykeman (guitar, vocals), Sam Guthridge (banjo, mandolin, vocals), Nate Grower (fiddle), and Mike Buccino (bass).

Hemlock & Hickory: Brendan Hearn and Dakota Karper blend their talents on cello, violin, guitar, banjo and vocals to create a unique take on traditional and original folk music. Forming after a chance meeting at the Appalachian String Band Music Festival in 2018, they have spent time touring in new england, and the mid-atlantic region of the US. Uniquely, their passion for music comes not in the expected pursuit of a sound, but in the hungry search to experience moments of a ‘musical high'. It is that space where you are connected to all things around you and existing as a small piece of an expansive universe.
