3pm: Oran Etkin: Timbalooloo - instruments from around the world come to life and talk through their music so that kids conceive of music as the magical act of making your instrument talk! Timbalooloo strives to empower a generation of children to express themselves through music as fluently as they speak their mother tongue, and to see the beauty and creativity in other cultures.
4pm: Remarks by City Council Members Alexa Avilés and Shahana Hanif, followed by Miriam Elhajli y La Nueva Canción - your local neighborhood band of South American bandits, here to rock your world with our deep love of cumbia, joropo, vallenato, bullerengue and salsa!
