About Brooklyn Americana Music FestivalThe Brooklyn Americana Music Festival (BKAMF)
brings together Brooklyn-based Americana musicians and special guests from across the country to perform both outdoors and indoors in Dumbo. The annual music festival is a beloved celebration of folk, roots, country blues, and Americana founded from the ashes of Dumbo Arts Fest. (DAF) in 2015. BKAMF curated loading dock live music stages at DAF 2000 - 2014.
BKAMF is made possible by Brooklyn Arts Council’s 2022 Brooklyn Arts Fund Program supported by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA).
BKAMF is sponsored by Red Hook Brewery - SixpointFrom their early 2000's beginnings as a mysterious, draft-only brewery in the rough and tumble Red Hook, Sixpoint have been combining scientific knowledge with a bit of creative madness to create delicious beers! One of the first craft breweries to sell their brews in a can, they are constantly tweaking, improving, and releasing new formulations. In May of 2017, they took their biggest step forward, releasing all of their ales raw and unfiltered, and simultaneously incorporating new and incredible raw materials obtained over years of sourcing.
