Banaras has a distinct yet exquisite musical legacy ingrained in it's heritage. The Music here carries every emotion which a musical devotee could always present up to us..
So presenting to you the 'Sound of Banaras 4' which is a concert to showcase the young building artistes of Varanasi who will create the aura of the soul music of Varanasi amongst us..
This concert starts with the Kathak Dance of Banaras Gharana by Heta Patel after that Young Indian classical vocalist Priyanshu Ghosh from Varanasi who'll be spreading the goodness of the Music of Varanasi and create the joyous sense of the beautiful music here...
H'll be accompanied by Shri Siddharth Chakraborty on Tabla and Dr. Indradev Chowdhary on Harmonium to put a star on the output...

This program is followed by a Tabla solo performance of Shrikant Mishra who'll be oceaning us in the Banarasi baaj by playing the traditional Banarasi style..He would be accompanied by a very exceptionally talented musician of Varanasi Shri Anand Kishor Mishra , on the Harmonium...

The presentation starts with a Ram Stuti in Taal Dadra and Raag Bibhaas, followed by Rupak Taal Presentation which includes Thaat, Aamad, Toda, Paran etc as per the traditions of Kathak.
The end piece is a Beautiful Thumri by Pandit Bindadin Maharaj Ji in Taal Dadra and Raag Shyam Kalyan

Priyanshu is presenting the powerful,beautiful & Difficult Raga Marwa followed by thumri in raag charukeshi and after this traditional tappa in raag bhairvi. He'll be accompanied by talented Shri Siddharth Chakraborty on tabla & the other hand Dr. Indradeo Choudhary on Harmonium.
