Sleepover Trading Co. Presents: The People Under the Stairs

In honor of the late David Lynch, join Sleepover Trading Co. and Avalon Lounge for a film starring Twin Peaks' Big Ed and Nadine like you've never seen them before! 
What's that creaking sound you're hearing? It just might be The People Under the Stairs! Join us on Wednesday, February 26th for 1991's horror comedy with a message from the mind of Wes Craven (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream). 
In a last ditch effort to save their home from gentrification, a young boy (Brandon Adams) and his uncle (Ving Rhames) decide to rob their crooked landlords (Everett McGill and Wendy Robie from Twin Peaks) but get a lot more than they bargained for. It's one part capitalism, one part cannibalism with a planned remake coming soon from Jordan Peele! 
This screening will kick off with a special pre-film clip show featuring specially curated trailers and commercials. The pre-show begins at 7:00pm with the film at 7:30pm at the Avalon Lounge (29 Church Street, Catskill, NY).
