Born in a music-loving family, Hindol was immensely inspired towards music by his music-enthusiast father,
Late Prasanta Chattopadhyay since his childhood. Hindol Chattopadhyay was initially groomed under his mother Smt. Bharati Devi (Vocalist) and uncle Sri Susanta Chattopadhyay, disciple of Pandit Monilal Nag; later he received his elaborate training from Pandit Amar Karmakar (disciple of Legendary Ustad Vilayat Khan Saheb); late Bimal Chattopadhyay and The Late Legend Ustad Vilayat Khan Saheb! Hindol also received extensive vocal taalim (tutelage) from Pandit Kalyan Bose and from Late Pandit Nidan Bandhu Bandopadhyay — that seasoned his renditions with rich embellishments of authentic traditional vocal repertoires. He has received his Sangeet Visharad degree from Pracheen Kalakendra, Chandigarh.

Hindol has been performing in AIR, Kolkata since his childhood and his CDs are also frequently played in FM radio channels & All India Radio. Hindol has had extensive performance experience over the last two decades. He has widely performed in India in prestigious concerts, festivals as well as in top-tier venues in the USA & Canada like:
University of Michigan, University of Nebraska, University of Florida, Rutgers University, Consulate General of
India-NYC; in Toronto, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Boston, Washington, D.C., Detroit, Rochester, Madison,
Sacramento, Brampton, Chicago, San Francisco and many more reputed organizations.

Manav Khurana
Manav Khurana is a young tabla player who has been learning tabla since he was 11 years old. His initial training was under the guidance of Shri Kumar Raj Gandharva, and he subsequently learned from Sabir Hussain of the Punjab Gharana. For the past three years he has been studying with Shri Dibyarka Chatterjee of the Farrukhabad Gharana, who is the son and disciple of Pandit Samir Chatterjee.
