Mondays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm: 2/3, 2/10, 2/24, 3/2, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31
Harmony Singing: Duos and Trios will offer you the chance to sing in a wide variety of traditional American styles, including folk, old-time, bluegrass, gospel and country - and give you the tools to do it! We'll spend time learning musical scales, recognizing and repeating intervals, building chords together, and, yes, even do some sight-singing from musical notation (It's fun! You can do it!) Then, we'll apply these skills to harmony songs so you can practice holding a melody line against a harmony, learning harmony parts by ear or notation, and even creating your own traditional-style "stack" harmonies. We'll draw on a range of close harmony styles to get our ears and voices working, and you'll build up your ensemble singing skills as you work in both large and small groups. The big goal will be to move from large group to singing one-on-a-part. If you can hold a tune and want to explore harmony singing, this class is for you!

Holder agrees by use of this ticket not to transmit or aid in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event to which this ticket is issued. Breach of the foregoing will automatically terminate this license. Holder agrees that the license comprised by this ticket may be removed and Holder may be ejected from the event for which this ticket is issued in the event that Holder violates any law, ordinance, or venue regulation. Holder grants permission to the organization sponsoring the event for which this ticket is issued to utilize Holder’s image or likeness in connection with any video or other transmission or reproduction of the event to which this ticket relates.
