SARA NY invites Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and Students who are also Artists, to submit their artistic projects to this annual art show, SARA ART. This year's exhibition will be held October 9-11th, hosted at
Brickworks Design Studio, and sponsored by
Sherwin Williams. Submission fees and event entries will go towards funding SARA NY Student Scholarships. Submissions to the 2024 SARA ART Exhibition will start on July 1st, 2024 and run until September 13th, 2024. Tickets to the event will go on sale in August.
Artists will pay submission fees through Viewcy link here: SARA ART 2024 Submission Fee. Once you have received your submission fee confirmation number please fill out the following SARA ART 2024 - Artist Submission Form to complete your submission. All submissions must include digital images of their artworks, an asking price for each artwork if to be sold to the public (please see below for more information on this), along with dimensions of artwork to be considered. *Due to an anticipated high volume of entries, and limited space, submitting artwork does not guarantee inclusion into the exhibition. Please consider your photos and project narratives when submitting to this year's art exhibition.

STEP 2: Submitting Multiple Artworks? - Pay an Additional Submission Fee per additional artwork at the link above.
STEP 4: Don’t forget to include photos of your artwork & let us know if the artwork is being considered for sale at the event. Please read below for further guidelines.

SARA ART 2024 SCHEDULE
Artwork Drop Off: October 7th & 8th, 2024 - 10am-4pm at Brickworks Design Studio
First Day of Exhibition: Wednesday, October 9th, 2024
- Last Chance to Drop Off Artwork - 9-11am at Brickworks Design Studio
- Exhibition Opens to Public - 12pm - 5pm
Second Day of Exhibition: Thursday, October 10th, 2024
- Exhibition Open to Public - 9am-10pm
- Opening Night Reception - 6pm-10pm
- Artist Panel Discussion - 7pm-8pm - moderated by Christian Bailey, SARA NY Board President
Third Day of Exhibition: Friday, October 11th, 2024
- Exhibition Open to Public - 9am-3pm
- Art Pickup - All artworks, sold or unsold, must be picked up - 3-5pm
ARTIST SUBMISSION FEES
- First Submission: $30 (SARA Member)/$35 (Non-members)
- Each Additional Submission: $20 (For All)
- Deadline for Artwork Submissions: September 13th, 2024 at midnight
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS
- Artists can submit a maximum of 5 artworks to SARA ART.
- All artwork must be mounted/framed to be placed on an easel or be self supporting.
- Artworks smaller than 30” x 40” will be mounted on a tabletop easel.
- Artworks larger than 30” x 40” may be subject to additional fees. Please reach out to SARA NY Executive Director - Justin Brown at [email protected] for more information.
- All works must be deemed appropriate for public display. - Subject to review by SARA NY Council
- Please include any additional needs regarding your pieces, i.e. electricity needs, etc. within your digital image submission form. Please note that requests will be considered by SARA NY Council but are not guaranteed.
ARTWORK SOLD at SARA ART EXHIBITION
- Each artwork must include a desired asking price at the time of submission if it is intended to be sold to the public at this event. If not intending to sell your works, please let us know in the Artist Submission Form. Please note that SARA NY requests that 25% of the asking price go directly to SARA NY's Scholarship Fund and the remaining 75% of the sale will go directly to the artist. Please consider this when creating your desired price.
