This Roots n' Ruckus is super special! Not only is it just before this year's Brooklyn Folk Fest, but it will feature Giorgio Maltese, a musician from Sicily playing along with David Marker, whose documentary "Zampogna: The Soul of Southern Italy" has captured the minds and hearts of many music lovers across the globe. It will also feature Italian string band music from Vaianos Paisanos, and songwriters Judette Elliston and Hannah Thompson. This is surely one you can not miss.
After 18 years of weekly shows, Roots n' Ruckus is reborn! Join us on the first Wednesdays of the month for Jalopy's longest running and most integral series. We're returning in September with a fantastic lineup and as always- it's FREE!
