RENKU is Attias' longest-running band (over twenty years) and their first-ever concert was at Barbès. They've made four albums and their music has been described as songful, telepathic, ghostly and elastic. Tonight they welcome two brilliant friends as guests for a set of improvised music.

Named after a collaborative, improvised form of Japanese poetry, RENKU is a collaborative trio that has released three albums and been the core of several of Attias' larger ensembles over the years.
The trio had its debut at Barbès 21 years ago, as part of MIchaël Attias much lauded Nights of the Ravished Limb
Their last concert was named one of the Best of 2022 in the New York City Jazz Record end of the year list...
