Pamela Laws is a singer songwriter and composer who has teamed up with long time collaborator, Jack Petruzzelli (Patti Smith, Rufus Wainwright, Joan Osborne) and co writer Adam Bernstein.  The team has created a trove of new songs that go far beyond their shared rock, jazz and country influences.

Pamela was born in Houston, Texas and raised in San Francisco. Before signing with Warner Brothers and Warner Chappell, Pamela sang background vocals for Counting Crows.  After 2 major label releases, Pamela had a role in a WB film called Mad City, played a folk singer and sang the theme song written by Lou Reed called “ Is Anybody Listening?”

Interview Magazine says, “Lucky for New Yorkers, she’s the real thing. Laws blends her experiences with pop, jazz, rock and folk. … her tiny speaking voice belies the big belting, sometimes booming onstage sound and persona.”
