Moon Lab

Moon Lab is a co-created ritual space. 

We host monthly meetings for femmes and allies, 

around the time of the Full Moon. 

We recognize the need and desire to be together in community, in solidarity, allyship, and kinship. 

To have safe spaces and containers for connection. To weave together and share the wisdom, solace, and grace offered by our diverse lineages, rituals, and practices.  

To find, or create, the resonance needed to recharge our hearts and spirits.

Come celebrate the Full Snow Moon & Valentine’s Day with Moon Lab on Friday, February 14th from 6- 9 PM at Alchemia Studio in Bushwick. Dress as snazzy or as comfortably as you wish. Bring a journal, bring your hydration device, bring something for our communal altar, & feel free to bring any snacks to share (tea, wine, cookies, grapes, cheese, etc). We invite you to come with an open heart and your presence as an offering .We will be having our opening circle, meditation & grounding practices, moon reflection, shared ritual, and an open mic.

Come with songs, poetry, music, dance, or anything you’d like to share. We will also have two special guest speakers, Katie Cercone and Katie the Card Lady, each offering their insights on the energetics of this time. <3

Katie Cercone is an interdisciplinary artist, yogi, curator & astro-feminist based in Queens, NYC. Katie teaches GENDER TROUBLE in the Visual & Critical Studies Department at SVA. To learn more about her yoga and astro-oracle offerings, follow @parvati_slice on Instagram. 

Katie Kirk AKA 'Katie the Card Lady' is a mathemaGician who has studied the energetic science of the playing cards for over 15 years. She uses the system to help people develop their own personal relationship with numbers and symbols, to understand how their unique energies play out in the world around them, and to integrate this numerical wisdom into everyday language.
