Lucian Ban & Alex Harding TUBA PROJECT featuring Bob Stewart

Transylvanian expat pianist Lucian Ban invites Detroit baritone saxophonist Alex Harding and legendary tuba master BOB STEWART in a new quintet that features also Mat Maneri on viola and drummer Brandon Lewis. Pulsating blues, new orleans riffs, eastern european folk, funk grooves and free jazz outbursts can be found in their music but the sound of the group goes well beyond all these to become a sound unlike anything else.
