Jim Knable and his rotating band of Randy Bandits have been gently ravishing New York, its surrounding states, and the globe since 2003. Playwright turned troubadour Jim Knable writes the songs and the band arranges and plays on them with reckless but considerate abandon. Their albums Redbeard (2006), Golden Arrow (2009), Green Man (2018), and Blue Reunion (2020), prepare to be quintupled with 2024-25 album PALE FIRE, recorded with most of the original lineup (Chris Q. Murphy, Jay Buchanan, and Spiff Wiegand) plus new keyboardist Bert Jantsch, engineered by Bryce Goggin (Phish, Pavement, Antony and the Johnson’s). Jim Knable is currently on his Slowburn Pale Fire Tour alone and with the various Bandits to support the release.
