A Battle Between Ego and Devotion

Join us for this cornerstone community event of high art and culture of North India featuring kathak students of Leela New York - the premiere New York City training center of Leela Dance Collective under the artistic direction of renowned kathak artist Rachna Nivas. This year’s dance drama tells the story of Lord Krishna raising consciousness of love and devotion to nature, in sharp contrast to Lord Indra, God of rain and thunder, who uses fear mongering and egocentricity to gain devotees.
