Fiddle Workshop with Bruce Molsky

Bruce will guide fiddlers through several old time fiddle tunes from different regions and highlight some of what’s unique and compelling about each. Starting with simple melody, we’ll add ornaments and bowing as we go. Participants can build their own renditions, or keep it simple and solid. 

Playing good music doesn’t mean being fancy! There will be lots of repetition of phrases, and questions and conversation are welcome. It will be so exciting to be live in-person!

Suggested experience level: If you have at least a small repertoire of tunes and feel comfortable learning short phrases by ear, then you'll be fine.
