A wonderful musical evening present by some of the brilliant artists of this generation. They are well established in this field and are performing in various concerts since many years. The main artists to be featured in this session are---Jhankar Kar (vocal), Sourav Ganguly (sitar), Nandita Dubey (vocal). This will be their debut performance in Viewcy.
#1: Vocal recital by Jhankar Kar
Artists: Rupak Mitra, Jhankar Kar, Suraj Sharma
A khayal recital in raag Maru Bihag by Jhankar Kar. He will present two bandishes---vilambit bandish in vilambit ektal and drut bandish in drut teental. He will be accompanied by Rupak Mitra on the tabla and Suraj Sharma on the harmonium.
#2: Sitar recital by Sourav Ganguly
Artists: Nabagata Bhattacharjee, Sourav Ganguly
A sitar recital by Sourav Ganguly. He will present two gats in raag Hemant---vilambit teental gat and drut teental gat. He will be accompanied by Nabagata Bhattacharjee on the tabla.
#3: Semi classical vocal recital by Nandita Dubey
Artists: Debojyoti Roy, Suraj Sharma, Nandita Dubey
A semi classical vocal recital by Nandita Dubey. She will be presenting thumri, dadra, ghazal, etc. She will be accompanied by Debojyoti Roy on the tabla and Suraj Sharma on the harmonium.
