CHEO, the co-creator, guitarist and main composer for Los Amigos Invisibles, is back with a solo project and a 6 piece band playing his new songs in a live show that has disco, salsa, bossa nova, boogaloo, soul, funk in a elegant blend meant for dancing with your arms up in the air.
After leaving Los Amigos Invisibles, Cheo split his time between being a dad, playing around with different bands in NYC and producing records. A twist of events led him to produce “Sorpresa (2020, Nacional records) after thinking he had given away his life as a publishing artist.
“Sorpresa (2020, Nacional records) was so well received - in the middle of the pandemic - that Cheo decided to put together a band with his best players to record a follow up album and possibly touring.
The new album is called “Música para verse bien” (2023, Nacional records) and they are ready to play.
Expect a show that could drive you from a Bolero to disco beat on a ride that fills your night with joy for all the music lovers.
