DJ Elliott Peter Matos is a dj and electronic musician, as well as the creator of Amsterdam's GayDE, Women of House, and Sounds of Blackness events that happen every year during the Amsterdam Dance Event since 2009. Growing up, mostly in the suburbs of Manhattan, on Long Island, in a Spanish household where music was greatly appreciated and with a family that regularly frequented the legendary Manhattan nightclubs of the 70's, all forms of dance music hold a major place in his heart. Elliott’s broad liking of different types of dance music all have a similar theme: they all promoted what he coins as, “The Raver’s Creed”, P/L/U/R. Peace, Love, Understanding and Respect are the major themes in the music that he, spins. P/L/U/R plus trippy, psychedelic and sexy!
