Alakazam The Great

Alakazam is a 1960 Japanese anime musical film, heavily based on the 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West.  It retells a traditional tale of an unusual monkey born from a stone. The stone monkey befriends a fellow monkey and is later crowned king of a tribe of monkeys after he proves his courage by diving into a dangerous waterfall.
