On September 26th Unicorn Bar is proud to present a night of hot jazz with Annie & the Fur Trappers, turning our space into a 1920's speakeasy for the gods. Come dressed in your snazziest pantsuit, dashing cocktail dress or oversized blazer and keep these details on the down low...
For entry, you'll need a a ticket, along with a highly top secret password we'll be sharing a few days in advance. If you dare to enter our opulent establishment, you'll receive a drink promo for the evening's cocktail special: Lavender Bees Knees, delicately crafted by our very own bar lead. This classic prohibition era beverage is comprised of gin, lemon and honey... with a little gay twist of lavender bitters.
Music for the evening will be curated by Annie and the Fur Trappers, a Boston-based traditional jazz and blues band who will knock your socks off. Originally founded in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2016, the band is made up of clarinet, trumpet, bass, guitar and drums. Annie and the Fur Trappers is dedicated to performing and preserving the music of the 1920s and 30s, and we're excited to experience their delightful romp.
Costumes are highly encouraged, and be prepared to dance!
